Pinterest has inspired 3 sisters living across the United States to start a blog and a business. In this episode of the podcast, we take a look at how collaboration and social media have helped these ladies build Made From Pinterest.
Since launching in October of 2012, they have built a following of over 17,000 on Pinterest and over 18,000 fans on Facebook. Sherri, Debbie and Tracy each play a role in bringing this fun and informative blog to life where they put Pinterest pins to the test. As they put it, some pins “rock” while some pins “flop.”
The ladies recommend having tall vertical pins in your blog posts and to use an interesting graphic with them. The image below is from a pin that definitely rocked, it’s their most popular post on Pinterest. As of the writing of this post, it has been pinned to Pinterest 19,263 times!
